Types of licenses

There are two types of licenses – Mailbox Licenses and Public Folder licenses

Mailbox licenses

• One license is used per mailbox – user/shared/resource mailbox
• Up to 50 GB of data can be migrated with single license
• If a single mailbox is bigger than 50 GB then additional number of licenses need to be purchased (1 license for each additional 50 GB of data)

Public folder licenses

• One license is used per first level Public folder
• Up to 10 GB of data can be migrated with a single license
• If Public Folder is bigger than 10 GB then additional number of licenses need to be purchased (1 license for each additional 10 GB of data)
